Convos lives on all the major podcasting platforms. Please subscribe, share, like, comment, and review (all the good stuff) — every action helps the show find people who are looking for exactly this kind of conversation.
Imagine turning on your TV, walking into a theater, opening your phone, and actually finding what you're looking for. Imagine the filmmakers making the things you care about being able to reach you.
And for filmmakers out there, imagine your projects finding the people who are actually looking for them.
The podcast "Convos about Conscious Media with Kia" is the conversation.
Conscious Media Visionaries is what it's building toward: a home for people who care about conscious media, and for the curious.
Your answers shape what gets built. Not in the abstract. The more specific you are, the more this becomes yours, a place that actually works the way you want it to.
I'm not farming this out. I read every response myself, and I reach out to the people who are open to being contacted.
It's a lot of questions. (I love a good list!) Only two are required. The rest, go as deep as you feel like going. Grab a coffee if you need to.
I think you’ll be glad you did.

In 2007, Kia Kiso-Brennan was a camera assistant on the set of the TV show Cold Case. Mid-shoot, a thought arrived that changed everything: if thoughts create reality, does entertainment create our world?
She kept working. 90+ credits across feature films, documentaries, music videos, and television. She produced Mile… Mile and a Half, a documentary about the John Muir Trail that crowdfunded its audience, sold out screenings, beat Jiro Dreams of Sushi on the iTunes charts, and landed a Netflix deal. She produced Reverend Michael Beckwith’s Spiritual Liberation (recommended by Oprah) and the award-winning music video for Keb’ Mo’s America the Beautiful. She is a founding member of the Producers Guild of America’s Social Impact Entertainment Task Force and served as Interim Executive Director of the ILLUMINATE Film Festival.
However, that original question never left her. In 2017, she founded Conscious Media Visionaries to build the infrastructure the field was missing: a way to find, support, and map media that creates awareness and has a positive impact. Convos is the podcast she wished existed decades ago.
She lives in Los Angeles and reads every message her audience sends her.
